$450K - $600K Full-time View Full Job Share Job Position Overview We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented CFO to lead the financial and operational management of a UHNW family office. This individual will serve as the strategic point person for investment selection and portfolio oversight across a range of asset classes (public and private), while also managing the broader accounting, budgeting, and control functions. The CFO will report directly to the principal family member. The immediate priority is to migrate and insource functions currently handled by an external multi-family office, establishing a robust, in-house operation. Responsibilities Investment Management Lead investment identification, due diligence, and execution across equities, fixed income, alternatives, real estate, venture capital, and private equity. Oversee the monitoring and reporting of performance on all investment holdings. Build and maintain relationships with external fund managers, bankers, and brokers. Accounting & Controls Manage all accounting functions, ensuring accurate books and records. Develop and enforce internal controls to protect assets and streamline cash flows. Oversee timely completion of financial statements, tax documents, and regulatory filings. Budgeting & Expense Management Establish and maintain annual budgets, forecasting, and cost optimization strategies. Create transparency and accountability across all cost centers, including vendor agreements and payroll. Vendor & Partner Relations Negotiate, monitor, and review contracts with key vendors and partners. Serve as the primary interface for external service providers, including legal counsel, auditors, and public relations firms. Organizational Leadership Recruit, mentor, and lead a small, high-performing team of finance and operations professionals. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives. Maintain a culture of meticulous attention to detail, high ethical standards, and impeccable client service. Migration & In-House Integration Lead the transition of all financial operations currently managed by a multi-family office. Establish and implement new systems, workflows, and best practices within the family office. Qualifications Experience Prior experience in wealth management or investment banking at a top-tier financial institution or family office. Proven track record of sourcing, structuring, and executing complex investment deals. Demonstrated success recruiting and managing top talent across multiple job functions. Expertise & Skills Exceptional managerial and leadership capabilities with a roll up your sleeves mentality. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Deep financial acumen, including portfolio analysis, financial modeling, and capital allocation strategy. Education Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred; MBA, CPA, CFA are strong pluses).
