gpac is working with client company in upstate New York who is seeking a CFO for their manufacturing facility. They are seeking an experienced, strategic, and driven individual to join their leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial management, leadership, and the ability to drive business success through financial insight and strategy.

Position Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all financial operations of the company and will play a key role in developing and implementing financial strategies that align with the company's goals. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, executive team, and department heads to provide financial leadership, guidance, and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.


  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.


  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and investment strategies to maintain financial stability and growth.


  • Provide strategic financial insight to the CEO and Board of Directors to support decision-making.


  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.


  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to enhance their professional growth and performance.


  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders.


  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the company's financial practices remain competitive and compliant.


  • Monitor key financial metrics and deliver regular reports to the executive team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, with at least 2 years in a CFO capacity.


  • Strong understanding of financial strategy, corporate finance, accounting, and regulatory compliance.


  • Proven experience in managing financial operations, risk, and performance in a fast-paced environment.


  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.


  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business growth.


  • Strong proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, etc.).
