Position Overview:

As the Chief Electrical Construction Estimator, you will lead a team of 10 estimators, overseeing projects valued over $50M. With a focus on the healthcare and commercial construction sectors, you will ensure accurate and competitive bidding processes, guiding your team to success and maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and mentor a team of 10 estimators, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
2. Oversee the preparation of detailed electrical construction estimates for large-scale projects.
3. Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project scope and requirements.
4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment and accuracy in estimates.
5. Implement best practices and innovative strategies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the estimating process.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Monitor market trends and adjust estimating strategies accordingly.
8. Provide leadership and expertise in pre-construction meetings and negotiations.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 15 years of experience leading electrical estimator teams, preferably in healthcare and commercial construction.
2. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry standards.
3. Proven track record of successfully managing and completing high-value projects.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
