Chief Estimator
Responsibilities -
- Highway construction, bridges, concrete paving, underground utilities, heavy civil work, 50-million-dollar projects
- Do some piping and natural gas projects as well
- More underground utility projects for 2025 - versatile heavy civil is the key experience component
- Roles are open d/t growth
- Travel expectations - once a month is a good estimate, probably not much more but not none
- Hours - not a standard 40-hour week, expectation is the work gets done when it needs to be done, 10-hour days are not out of the ordinary
Qualifications - Degree Preferred, not required
Required Skills -
- Tech : Vista ViewPoint, another name for HCSS
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft programs, Bluebeam, Adobe, HCSS (Heavy Bid)
Preferred Skills -
- Additional working knowledge preferred but not required on AutoCAD, Agtek, MicroStation
Pay range and compensation package - $140,000 - 180,000, Bonus Eligible
