About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) to join its executive team and take a pivotal role in the development and implementation of compliance and risk management programs. The CCO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of compliance, including CASP operations, team leadership, financial crime prevention, compliance monitoring, reporting, and regulatory liaison. This is a key leadership position that requires a strategic approach to compliance in the fast-paced and evolving cryptocurrency industry. The successful candidate will be a statutory director, actively participating in the company's governance and strategic development. Applicants for the CCO position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in compliance-related business functions, with at least 2 years specializing in regulatory compliance within the cryptocurrency industry. The role demands a proven track record in managing compliance teams, developing internal controls, and driving regulatory strategy. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to work closely with executive leadership to align compliance strategy with business objectives. The CCO will also be responsible for fostering a compliance-first culture, mentoring the compliance team, and ensuring that the company remains at the forefront of compliance in the crypto space. A background in compliance for consumer, payments, and business financial products is required, and prior experience as a statutory director or board-level executive is highly desirable.
