Job Summary:
The R&D Lab Technician plays a key role in preparing and testing formulations, prototypes, and materials in a research and development setting. This position involves working with liquids, solids, and other materials, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare formulations (liquid, solid, and other required samples) based on instructions.
Conduct material characterization and prototype testing independently, following SOPs.
Operate and maintain analytical instruments and prepare test samples.
Handle pure nicotine safely and prepare nicotine solutions according to protocols.
Assist scientists in developing prototypes, including 3D printing.
Perform routine maintenance and installation of laboratory equipment.
Follow safety protocols while handling chemicals and conducting experiments.
Conduct literature research, design experiments, and summarize findings when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lab experience in formulation, chemistry, or material processing
Ability to follow SOPs and work independently
Familiarity with analytical instruments and testing methods
Strong attention to safety procedures
