JOB TITLE: Chemical Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Chemical Engineer, you will be key in driving operational improvements, supporting production and maintenance activities, and contributing to new product and process development. This position allows you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and work with senior executives of the company. It is an opportunity to learn the business from the ground up.
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY : Performs duties with only general direction and defined latitude for independent judgment within established guidelines and policies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Some work is performed outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, while other work is performed indoors at the production facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and support plant process improvements, including production optimization and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the India Engineering team, Maintenance, and Operations to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Assist in developing and executing capital projects, including equipment specification and installation oversight.
- Monitor key process variables and conduct tests to maintain product quality and process safety.
- Participate in facility inspections and recommend preventive maintenance and reliability improvements.
- Support Quality and EHS initiatives, driving a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (required).
- 1-5 years of plant or industrial process experience (internships/co-ops count.).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Desire to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibilities.
- Familiarity with process control, liquid/solid handling, and safety procedures is a plus.

COMPENSATION :
- Starting Base Salary of $90-100K
- Performance-Based Bonus - 10%, with potential for more based on experience
