Role Overview
We are looking for a Chef Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy kitchen, managing an Assistant Chef and a team of Catering Assistants. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking meals to meet the dietary requirements of our residents
- Managing stock and waste while ensuring a clean and tidy kitchen
- Conducting risk assessments
- Recruiting and training staff
You will interact daily with residents, visitors, and colleagues, so we seek someone who is friendly, approachable, and passionate about their role.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience catering for the dietary requirements of older people and a valid food hygiene certificate are essential.
