POSITION :

Head Cheerleading Coach

Wenatchee High School

Stipend: $5,631 - $7,195

RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for planning and coordinating rehearsals and performances throughout the school year. Attend rehearsals, performances, and activities. Design and teach routines for field shows and parades. Work with the band director as appropriate. Assist in preparing yearly budgets, including coordinating fundraisers. Meet with parents and booster groups. Join appropriate associations and organizations (winterguard international, etc.).Assist in the preparation of student athletes for performances and at the same time, receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of good citizenship, pride of accomplishment, self-discipline, and self-confidence.

QUALIFICATIONS: Head cheer coach at Wenatchee High School. Good human relations skills and ability to work as a team player. Stunt certification is preferred. Current Wenatchee High School employee preferred. Certificated personnel preferred. At least 19 years of age. Hold a valid CPR certification card or be enrolled in a CPR card course. Cheer stunt certification. A Washington State Patrol criminal history information form required by RCW 43.43.830 is on file in the Athletic Office. SPI Moral Character Supplement Form 4020b completed and on file (classified personnel will have this form on file in the Athletic Office). Annually attend bloodborne pathogens training. By the completion of the second year of coaching employment, the beginning coach must have completed a total of at least thirty (30) clock hours.

SCHEDULE: OPEN UNTIL FILLED.

BENEFITS: This position does not qualify for health insurance or paid leave benefits.

in the law. In addition, a background check, based on fingerprints, will be requested from the

Washington State Patrol & FBI. Employment is conditional based upon completion of the record

check.
