Are you an experienced payroll professional looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills and make a significant impact? Our client, a leading provider in their respective field, is seeking a Payroll Manager to join their team. With multiple locations, this is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you'll manage payroll operations for a large workforce of employees. If you have extensive experience, and advanced Excel skills, we want to hear from you. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $38-46 per hour.
Responsibilities:

•  Process bi-weekly payroll for a multi-state workforce.
•  Handle all payroll-related functions, including onboarding of new hires, managing terminations, and updating deduction information.
•  Verify, input, and process wages, wage taxes, and various benefit program calculations and deductions to ensure accurate compensation.
•  Maintain meticulous payroll records and perform precise data entry to guarantee data integrity.
•  Work closely with managers to rectify any missed timecard punches, ensuring accurate time and attendance records.
•  Process employee garnishments in accordance with regulatory guidelines, providing accurate calculations and timely payments.
•  Handle employment verifications promptly while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee information
•  Review and enter payroll data for assigned payroll groups, meticulously validating accuracy and completeness.
•  Track and manage employee leave requests within the payroll system to ensure accurate time-off records.
•  Respond promptly to employee inquiries related to payroll, offering exceptional service and resolving issues effectively.
•  Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies to set up new accounts and comply with regulatory requirements.
•  Provide support for special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
•  Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the payroll function.
Requirements:

•  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
•  Advanced Excel skills, particularly in working with Pivot tables and VLOOKUP, enabling effective data analysis and reporting.
•  Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accuracy and precision in payroll processing.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and clear communication with stakeholders.
•  Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive payroll information. REF 47057
