Physical Requirements:Able to lift up to 50 pounds, sitting in an office setting as well as the ability to walk on the University of Kentucky campus multiple times a day to provide support to multiple locations.
Shift:Up to 40 hours per week, daytime or evening, including weekends and holidays. The work week includes 2 days off each week (Sunday-Saturday work week). 440 possible hours: up to 40 hrs a week from May 19th-August 1st, 11 weeks total
Job Summary:- Provide theatre technical and logistic support to the College of Fine Arts starting on May 19, 2025, and continues until August 1st, 2025.
- Prepare all University of Kentucky reserved locations for GSA load in and ensure equipment and logistic needs are finalized and set
- Coordinate and facilitate the weeklong training for student workers
- Lead student workers and coordinate adequate coverage for the daily technical and program support for all hosted summer programs at various University of Kentucky locations
- Collaborate with GSA, Singletary Center and CFA staff, and Summer Production Assistant Intern for all performance event specific technical needs during GSA and other summer programs
- Serve as a liaison to GSA on behalf of the college to ensure safety, security, communication, and scheduling needs are met
- Lead student workers in space resets for all University of Kentucky locations during GSA load out
