Certified Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)/Operating Room Tech to join our healthcare team at one of NYC's top healthcare systems at their location in the Bronx, NY. Pay for this role is $50-$60/hour. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the operating room, assisting surgeons and ensuring that all surgical procedures run smoothly.

Stipends/Travel Packages available for Travel Candidates. Referral bonus of $500 available for candidates referred who work 100 hours or more.

CST/OR Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Setting up the instruments and equipment that is required for the procedure
Sterilizing equipment and taking an inventory to ensure there are enough supplies for surgery
Preparing the patient for surgery
Passing the Surgeon instruments and sterile supplies throughout the operation
Taking a count of all surgical instruments and supplies prior to the operation
Recounting surgical instruments and supplies at the end of the operation
Maintaining an overall sterile environment throughout the surgery

CST/OR Tech Requirements :
Certified Surgical Technician in NY State
BLS Certification
2 years of prior experience as a CST REQUIRED
Prior orthopedic experience REQUIRED
