Certified Surgical Technologist

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team within our multi-specialty outpatient surgery center. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical operations, ensuring all equipment is prepared and patients are cared for before, during, and after surgery.

Full time, 32 or 40 hours per week - NO NIGHTS, NO WEEKENDS, NO HOLIDAYS.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment is sterile and ready for use

- Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and supplies

- Monitor patients' vital signs and assist with data collection as needed

- Provide post-operative care to patients, including wound dressing and monitoring recovery

- Maintain a clean and organized surgical area before, during, and after procedures

Qualifications:

- active CST certification required

- Minimum of 1 year as a Certified Surgical Technologist is required

- Experience in surgery center setting is a plus

- Knowledge of anatomy and acute care procedures

- Ability to collect and record patient data accurately

- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring techniques

Pay: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour
