Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech - Full-Time Position with Sign-On Bonus

Location: Hudson, FL

Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Shift: Day Shifts, Evening Shifts, 12-Hour Shifts (7AM-7PM) with weekend availability required

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Paid out on the first paycheck)

Salary Range: $24.63 - $34 per hour (based on experience, up to 20 years)

Shift Differentials:
Weekend: $1.00/hr
Evening: $1.50/hr
On-Call: $4.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks related to patient care in the operating room. These include:
Preparing surgical instruments and supplies for procedures.
Setting up and maintaining a sterile field.
Assisting the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
Ensuring patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery.
Transporting patients to and from the surgical suite and assisting in positioning them for surgeries.
Maintaining aseptic techniques throughout the procedures.
Cleaning and sterilizing instruments after use.
Assisting in monitoring the patient's condition during surgery.
Providing culturally and age-appropriate care to patients.
Mentoring and orienting new staff members.

Qualifications:
Graduate of a formal surgical technologist program or equivalent training.
Certification as a Surgical Technologist in the state of Florida.
At least 1 year of surgical tech experience preferred (considering candidates from surgery centers or military hospitals).
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to concentrate over long periods.
Effective communication and customer service skills.

Additional Requirements:
Must live within 30 minutes of the facility.
Ability to take on-call shifts as needed.
