Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our healthcare team. The CRNA will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Working independently or in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals, the CRNA plays a key role in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments to develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
  • Administer various types of anesthesia including general, regional, and sedation techniques.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures.
  • Manage patient airway, ventilation, and circulation intraoperatively.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care, including emergence from anesthesia and pain management.
  • Document all anesthesia services provided in accordance with regulatory and hospital policies.
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide airway management or resuscitative measures as necessary.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain knowledge of current anesthesia practices, medications, and technology.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in applicable state.
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (Master's or Doctorate level).
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (as required by the facility).
  • Strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment:

  • Hospital operating rooms, ambulatory surgical centers, pain management clinics, or outpatient procedural centers.
  • Potential for on-call hours, evening, weekend, or holiday coverage depending on facility needs.
