Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

Coverage Needed:

• May 12, 2025 - ongoing
• Schedule: 20 shifts per month, including regularly scheduled shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • weeknight call from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. with a post-call day off
  • 24-hour weekend shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Clinical Details:

• Procedures: General Anesthesia, Blocks, Epidurals, Peds, OB, Pain, and Regionals required; No Neuro or Hearts
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: Full OR/PACU team, 3 FT Physicians, and 10 FT CRNAs

Requirements:

• Board Certified CRNA (National Board of Certification for Nurse Anesthetists)
• Active Iowa license and DEA required
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Experience with a patient population mix of 60% Medicare, 85% Adult/Geriatric, and 15% Peds/Adolescent
• Ability to handle 5-15 cases per day depending on case type and volume
