Locum Anesthesiologist - Collaborative Care Model (No Call)
About the Opportunity:
Hospital is seeking dedicated and collaborative locum Anesthesiologists to join our team. You will be an integral part of a supportive Collaborative Care team model, managing a variety of interesting case types. We anticipate needing ongoing weekday coverage throughout 2025 and will prioritize providers who can offer full-time coverage for multiple consecutive months. This position involves day shifts only with no call responsibilities.
Onboarding Process:
- Full-day orientation will be provided to acclimate you to our team, facilities, and protocols.
- A shadowing day will follow the orientation, allowing you to observe workflow and patient care alongside an experienced colleague.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborating effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the Collaborative Care team.
- Managing a diverse range of case types.
- Performing pre-anesthesia evaluations and developing anesthesia care plans.
- Administering and monitoring anesthesia.
- Managing post-anesthesia care in the immediate post-operative period.
- Adhering to established protocols and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Anesthesiology.
- Experience working within a collaborative care model is a plus.
- Strong clinical skills in providing anesthesia for a variety of surgical and procedural cases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preference will be given to providers who can offer full-time coverage for multiple consecutive months.
Work Environment: Collaborative Care team model.
Schedule: Weekdays, 10-hour day shifts.
Coverage Need: Ongoing through 2025.
Preference: Providers offering full-time coverage for multiple consecutive months will be prioritized.
