Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgical Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting surgical teams during procedures, ensuring that the operating room is prepared and that all necessary instruments and supplies are available. This position is vital in providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, particularly within a Level II Trauma Center.
Duties
Level 1 trauma experience required - general, vascular, neuro, ortho trauma, transplant, plastics/ENT
Certification as a Surgical Technician or equivalent experience in acute care settings.
Strong understanding of physiology and critical care principles.
Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
Proficiency in data collection and analysis related to surgical procedures.
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems is an asset.
