Shift: Day Shift (Flexible Schedule)
Pay Rate: $40/hour
We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team at a reputable Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Woodburn, OR. This is a 13-week contract position with a high chance of extension. The ideal candidate will work closely with patients to help improve their ability to perform daily activities, contributing to their overall rehabilitation and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Provide direct patient care under supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Document patient progress and report changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective care
- Provide education to patients and their families about therapeutic activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Requirements:
- Active Certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
- NEW GRADS WELCOMED
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Rehabilitation setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
