Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant responsibilities include therapy screening (as applicable per State regulation), daily treatment sessions working/communicating with the OT and their established Plan of Care. Physical demands of the position require good physical and mental health status as the position requires walking/standing most of the day, transferring, and pushing residents and equipment. Daily documentation is done electronically via Optima Healthcare Solutions (formally Rehab Optima) with a minimum weekly productivity of 90%.
