Job Description:General Description:
Under general supervision, of a licensed Occupational Therapist, provides occupational therapy to individuals or groups of patients
Essential Responsibilities:

- Contributes to assessment process under supervision of Registered Occupational Therapist.
- Assists Registered Occupational Therapist in developing treatment plan.
- Implements and modifies treatment plan under Registered Occupational Therapist's supervision.
- Monitors patient response to treatment reports response to Registered Occupational Therapist and modifies treatment as directed.
- Prepares written reports on each patient regarding attendance, behavior, reaction to therapy treatment, activities and documents in medical records.
- Submits daily charge tickets that reflect the treatment performed on patients.
- Participates in case conferences to coordinate the treatment of patients.
General Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associate Degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
Experience: None required.
License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current license by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as an Occupational Therapist Assistant. Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Occupational Therapy activities; of materials and equipment of various crafts and applied art.
- Knowledge of equipment and procedures used to provide therapeutic exercise and other Occupational Therapy treatments.
- Skill in maintaining effective cooperative working relationships with others.
- Skill in planning and conducting Occupational Therapy programs.
