Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Advanced Health Care specializes in short-term skilled nursing and we are looking for a full-time COTA to join our location in Nashville. Advanced Health Care offers every patient a private suite, consistent in-house therapy team, and patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is a skilled professional that is passionate about delivering quality care to the geriatric population.

Responsibilities
Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
Provide direct patient care to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks.
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for home-based care.
Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist.
Communicate with the interdisciplinary team and advocate for the needs of the patient.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and team approach to patient care.
Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation

Qualifications - Required
Graduate of an accredited COTA program
Valid TN license
CPR certification
