Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

The COTA role involves providing occupational therapy services to children with ASD under supervision, including implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy, and documenting progress.

•  Qualifications include an accredited associate s degree, MN licensure or eligibility, NBCOT certification, and experience with children with autism.

•  Responsibilities encompass evaluations, interventions, reviews, documentation, client/family education, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team.

•  Physical demands involve active engagement, lifting, and safety measures.

•  Preferred experience includes working with ASD and collaborating with speech and ABA therapists.
