Our COTA's, under direct supervision from an OT, assist in the treatment of injured, ill or disabled residents/clients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Evaluating residents/clients to see how OT services may benefit them.
Gathering data on resident/client medical history.
Collaborating with occupational therapists on treatment implementation.
Recording resident/client progress, communicating with OT for any plan/goal modifications.
Providing education on treatments/equipment to residents/clients and their families.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
A valid FL Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant license.
A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
Ability to demonstrate teamwork - be proactive, resourceful, and collaborative.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate between residents/clients and staff.

This position may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program.
