Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapy services to patients in various settings. Your role will be crucial in helping individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the evaluation and assessment of patients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans - Implement treatment plans as directed by the Occupational Therapist - Provide therapeutic interventions to patients, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities - Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary - Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises for continued progress at home - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Requirements: - Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Previous experience in occupational health, acute care, or related settings is preferred - Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and their application in therapy - Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team If you are a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant looking to make a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.
