Position Summary: The COTA Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct rehab care in occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT, following applicable laws and standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements:
NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program Active state license required One year of post-acute care experience preferred CPR certification required upon hire Specific Job Requirements:
Participate in community health projects Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Liaison with patients and families Demonstrate good body mechanics Make independent decisions as needed Knowledge of post-acute care regulations Implement departmental policies and procedures Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships Essential Functions:
