Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Always Better Care is pleased to announce a part time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant position out of our Laughlin, NV office. Our COTA will enjoy a generous hourly pay rate in addition to $55-$65 per visit as well as an additional $10 an hour for drive time. This position will be a Home Health opportunity servicing the Laughlin, NV area. Always Better Care is dedicated to providing exceptional care to all of our patients.

We are looking for a detail oriented, dedicated, and committed COTA for our patients. Through our staff of skilled and compassionate people, it is our mission to provide quality, individualized services which strengthen the independent lifestyle and promote dignity of the elderly and disabled in their own place of residence. Our COTA would be an integral part of our team.

Our COTA will be responsible for the following:
Assessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
Giving advice and providing support for family members and care givers
Helping patients to take part in every day activities based on their unique circumstances
Assisting patients' exercise for pain relief
Reviewing the patient's progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls

Our COTA must have reliable transportation, a clean driving record and valid driver's license, a current auto insurance policy, and a Nevada OT license. Our COTA will enjoy a generous hourly pay rate in addition to $55-$65 per visit.
