Qualifications
Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Licensure: Valid New Mexico COTA license and active BLS certification
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in rehabilitation or outpatient settings
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in therapeutic interventions, documentation, and adaptive equipment
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care abilities

Key Responsibilities
Assist Occupational Therapists in carrying out individualized treatment plans
Lead patients through therapeutic exercises to enhance motor function, cognitive ability, and daily living skills
Monitor and document patient progress under OT supervision
Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
