Job Description S pectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential need for a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Palo Alto VAMC in California. Qualifications: Active California C.N.A certification Current BLS certification 2 years of clinical experience United Sates Citizen High School Diploma Key Responsibilities Direct Patient Care (90% of time): Provide comprehensive nursing assistant services equivalent to those in a civilian medical treatment facility. Collaborate with patients, families, and physicians. Deliver high-quality care, demonstrating knowledge of all care stages. Implement care plans in accordance with the standards of the VA and Joint Commission. Operate and maintain medical equipment used in care delivery. Provide patient and family education. Administrative Duties (10% of time): Participate in quality improvement activities and meetings as required. Complete necessary quality assurance and performance improvement documentation. Adhere to infection control standards and ensure patient safety. Accurately document care in the electronic medical record system. Work Schedule: Full-Time 40hr/week Various shift times ranging from 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM : Multiple Shifts to include 07:00 AM-03:30 PM 07:30AM-04:00PM 08:00AM-04:30PM 10:30AM-07:00PM 11:30AM-08:00PM 12:30PM-09:0PM 03:30PM-12:00AM 11 Federal Holidays Off NO ON CALL Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems.
