Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides care and services to residents under the supervision of a nurse.
Sign-on bonus for all shifts
Rates starting at $21.05 per hour
Full-time shifts available: 7a-3p, 3-11p, 11p-7a
Newly renovated units opening - Exciting growth time.
Responsibilities:
Assists the resident with activities of daily living
Recognizes residents' strengths and uses rehabilitative nursing techniques to restore or maintain independence
Reports observations to Nurse concerning the residents' condition or activities
Assist in meeting the resident's emotional needs.
Assists in provision of a safe and clean environment
Participates as team member in inter disciplinary care conference as requested.
Transports residents from one nursing unit to another.
Attends staff development programs related to job responsibilities and maintains educational requirements needed for certifications
Experience:
Previous health care experience preferred
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Licensure/Certification:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required
