Certified Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant is responsible for patient registration, transfer, and discharge, compiling medical information, performing patient care activities, assisting with treatments, taking vital signs, administering medications, collecting specimens, maintaining clinic cleanliness, managing patient flow, assisting with surgeries, managing patient accounts, and operating office equipment. Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of a Medical Assistant Training Program, ability to type 30 words per minute, BLS Certification, and Certified Medical Assistant certification.
