OVERVIEW At Orion Groups, we are looking for a Cerner ClinDoc Application Analyst with a passion for healthcare technology.
The Cerner ClinDoc Application Analyst is responsible for the design, build, implementation, testing, and ongoing management of clinical applications associated to the Cerner EMR (electronic medical record).
LOCATION West Texas, United States
RESPONSIBILITIES- Plans, designs, builds, implements, communicates, maintains, and evaluates new and existing functionality related to the clinical applications of the electronic medical record.
- Powerform responsibilities include build of nomenclature, DTA's, Powerform sections, tasks, alternate task selection and Clinical Documentation tool for text rendition.
- Build new and modified existing IView bands, sections, docsets, dynamic groupers.
- Build new and modified CDMs, charge processing schedules, charge tiers.
- Works with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team to evaluate current EMR functionality and develops future workflows.
- Contribute to the development of end-user training for new and enhanced functionality.
- Research evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Ensures data/information is current with regulatory agency requirements and best practice standards.
- Assists HIM and Clinical Leaders with audits of medical records as necessary to ensure compliance with clinical processes and adherence to hospital policy and procedures.
- Provide resolution to end users across all production issue(s).
- Perform testing/validation from Code Upgrades and domain refreshes.
- Provide and manage on-call support for the following Cerner applications: PowerChart, ClinDoc/Powerforms, INet/IView, FirstNet.
EXPERIENCE- 5+ years' experience with Cerner ClinDoc, PowerChart, FirstNet, Powerchart Maternity and Charge Services for Patient Care.
- 5+ years' experience with Cerner Application Build and Support
- Bachelor's degree is required.
