Overview:
Lancaster Nursing & Rehabilitation is a 446-bed long term care facility with a beautiful campus in Lancaster, PA. We are seeking a dedica ted and eager individual to join our team as position Central Supply Clerk. This is a Full-Time position with hours including Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.
Position Summary:
Assist in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, facility policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
Job Duties:
Assist in developing methods for determining quantity of supplies and equipment necessary for operations
Stock each department with necessary supplies
Ensure inventory is updated as req uired when receiving/issuing supplies and equipment
Organize storage and catalog locations of supplies and equipment for efficient handling and to prevent deterioration
Communicate with medical staff, nursing personnel and other department personnel.
May be subject to the handling of and exposure to hazardous chemicals
Required Knowledge/Skills:
Must have high school diploma or GED
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 (fifty) pounds to a minimum height of 4 (four) fee
Previous long-term care experience desirable
