The Central Flow Lead manages the volume and workflow of multiple Fulfillment Centers (FCs) from a remote location.

This position requires working a mandatory night shift schedule and possibly odd or long hours.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the workflow of orders across multiple processes.
  2. Optimize customer experience while minimizing fulfillment costs across FCs.
  3. Communicate workflow status with Operations Managers and Area Managers, escalating any risks related to customer experience, SLA failures, or deviations from Standard Work.
  4. Advise FC operations and senior teams based on a holistic view of workflow throughout the FC.
  5. Facilitate communication between different operational areas.
  6. Provide insights to the Amazon Fulfillment Technology (AFT) team and collaborate on developing automated flow control systems.
  7. Manage flow settings for outbound operations across multiple FCs based on shift plans.
  8. Understand responsibilities between on-floor operations and Central Flow, as defined by Standard Work.
  9. Execute outbound flow operations and communicate risks and performance opportunities in a standardized manner.
  10. Develop and adjust shift plans based on operational needs and changing variables.
Basic Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
