Celebrate the Market

Join the Pike Place Market Foundation for an evening to honor the community of workers, residents, and supporters who make historic Pike Place Market the Soul of Seattle. On Thursday, May 15th, we're thrilled to celebrate the strength and resiliency of this community with Market dining options, engaging fundraising activities, and an inspiring program.

Volunteers help make this event success. Celebrate the Market. will take place from 6-8:30pm, but a variety of volunteer roles are available all day.

Volunteer requirements: Volunteers must be 21+ to volunteer at Celebrate the Market. Volunteers must attend a brief, virtual orientation specific to their role before May 15th.

Important note: Most volunteer shifts are 3-4 hours. Water and snacks will be provided for volunteers with shifts outside of the event time. For in-event volunteers, a light meal will also be available. Volunteers are encouraged to take breaks during their shift. Please note which volunteer roles (event set-up and break-down) are highly physical. Highly physical roles will potentially include high amounts of standing, heavy lifting, and walking.
