Position Overview: The role involves providing necessary escort to third-party contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers on site. The individual will work on assigned tasks such as making rounds and performing initial assessments on equipment performance under supervision. Responsibilities include basic monitoring of the maintenance and operations of equipment within the data center, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and fire/life safety systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Escort third-party contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers on site.
Perform tasks such as making rounds and initial assessments on equipment performance under supervision.
Monitor the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire/life safety) within the data center under supervision.
Conduct visual or non-intrusive preventative maintenance.
Perform single CRAH preventative maintenance, AHU filter replacement, eyewash and duress button preventative maintenance, humidifier preventative maintenance, and VESDA alert or supervisory (low air flow) checks.
Ensure adherence to all safety procedures while performing work and comply with all physical security procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

Must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification (can be completed upon a job offer).
Experience with mechanical systems in high availability assembly/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or related fields.
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
1+ year(s) of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, mechanical, controls, data center).
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Schedule

12 hour night shift
6pm-6am
Thurs-Sat, Every other Wednesday- rotating shifts
