TransForce is seeking full-time CDL Class A drivers in Seabrook, NH. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $35/hr, with overtime available after 50 hours per week.
Schedule:
- Monday through Saturday
- Initial 90-day period requires a 5-day workweek; option to transition to a 4-day schedule thereafter.
- Shifts typically last 12-14 hours, starting at 4:00 AM.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver groceries to a mix of independent and national grocery stores, as well as schools and hospitals.
- Handle 12-14 stops per day, covering approximately 130 miles.
- Operate 28-36 ft dual-temperature zone tractor-trailers.
- Unload freight using a ramp and two-wheeler; average load consists of 660 cases.
Training:
- Three-day in-house training covering classroom instruction and yard maneuvers.
- Four to five weeks of on-the-road training with experienced drivers.
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 6 months recent tractor-trailer experience.
- Experience with touch freight and ramp unloading preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mandatory Saturdays.
