Famous Supply is hiring CDL A Local Dry Van Drivers in Maple Heights, OH. As a CDL-A Local Driver you will play a crucial role in the Famous Supply Chain ensuring that all regulations, laws, and policies are followed while picking up and delivering products to Famous Supply Branches, Customers, and Job Sites. To serve our customers at a high level we must deliver every single order with great care, accuracy, and damage free. This role directly impacts and interacts with our customers. Famous Supply will provide a smartphone that enables navigation and routing to be managed with ease.
Famous Supply is a fourth-generation, family-owned wholesale distributor of heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) products, plumbing products, industrial/pipe, valves and fittings (PVF), building products, and LED lighting in Ohio, western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. Famous supports the residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional markets for new construction, replacement, repair, remodeling, parts, and service.
Compensation
- $23per hour with 40average hours weekly
- Wages negotiable based on experience
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
- $500 Employee referral bonus program
- $150 paid after 90 days employed, $350 paid after 1 year employed
- Annual bonus opportunity
- Paid via direct deposit bi-weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule
- Home Time: Home every night
- Schedule: Monday Friday, no weekends.
- Shift: Start time around 5:00AM
- Route: Local routes around Maple Heights, OH
- Level of Touch: Load & unload using pallet jack anddolly
- Drivers will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers
Equipment
- Late model day cab tractors
- Automatic & manual transmission
- Manual transmission experience is a plus.
- Dual facing cameras & backup camera
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- No DUI/DWIs in last 7 years
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Forklift, warehouse, building industry, and RF scanner experience are a plus.
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
- Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Maple Heights, OH or be willing to relocate for this position
