What You ll Do
- Safely drive Class A commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers
- Apply specialized de-icing and dust control products using onboard technology
- Operate computerized equipment and ELD systems (we ll train you if needed.)
- Load/unload trucks, railcars, and tanks (liquid, dry, and packaged goods)
- Perform minor maintenance on your vehicle and application equipment
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and supervisors while on the road
- Travel regionally with some overnights (paid.) NO coast-to-coast hauls
What You Need
- Valid CDL Class A with clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to obtain Tanker, Doubles/Triples, and Air Brake endorsements
- Experience driving a manual transmission (1 year minimum)
- 2+ years operating DOT vehicles, with winter or mountain driving experience a plus
- DOT Medical Card and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening
- Comfortable with basic tech (ELD, onboard computers, smartphone apps)
- Willingness to work some overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts during peak season
