Dedicated Driver Lead

Location: Menomonie
Position Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $300/day - $310/day Daily

Job Summary:
The Dedicated Driver Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's driver team, including managing schedules, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing support and guidance to drivers. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support and guidance to drivers, including advising new drivers and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
Advise drivers on how to follow proper process for meeting customer metrics including scanning.
Ensure that all drivers are following safety protocols, including wearing proper protective gear and operating vehicles safely.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to management on driver progress and areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of deliveries, pickups, incidents, and driver performance.
Communicates with other team members to coordinate routes and resolve any issues that may arise.
Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on company policies.

Qualifications:

Class A CDL.
Current DOT Medical Card and MVR.
At least 21 years of age.
2+ years of experience as a professional driver.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
Knowledge of transportation industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts or issues professionally with a sense of urgency.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis without assistance.
Commitment to safety and ability to lead by example.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Pass a drug and alcohol test.
