As an
Application Specialist at Husqvarna Construction, you support monthly regional sales forecasts by completing product and application solution demos and providing ongoing training and technical support to internal and external customers. This person works in collaboration with the field sales teams to grow market share within the region by working with existing, and helping to identify new, leads and customers. This position is critical for ensuring our competitive advantage by acting as an integral part of the sales process and demonstrating our continued commitment to supporting the relevant product categories and channels
The territory for this position is predominantly Texas but includes key accounts in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Louisiana.
Must reside in Territory -
Texas (Austin, Dallas, or Houston) strongly preferred. WHAT YOU'LL DOProduct and Application Solution Demonstrations & Training (50%) - Support monthly region sales forecast by completing product and application solution demos in support of existing sales leads and identifying new sales leads
- Coordinate equipment and proper materials for trainings within region
- Participate/coordinate within area of specialization in Group and/or internal training events
- Participate and represent Husqvarna Construction at trade shows
- Demo and train on equipment by request of field sales teams
Start Ups & Troubleshooting (30%) - Provide technical support and training to start up customers
- Troubleshoot technical service issues on-site
- Ability to read, understand, and follow electrical hydraulic schematics
Administration (20%) - Maintain accurate CRM
- Communicate with various internal departments
- Report field issues to Product Management, Technical Services, and R&D teams

Skills and Knowledge - Basic product and application knowledge
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system troubleshooting
- Competency in full range of product categories to identify leads and create cross selling opportunities
- Proficiency in CRM, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong Technical Ability
- Strong knowledge of CFS (Customer Focused Sales)
Education and Experience - 1-3 years' professional experience required
- BS in Business Admin or other applicable technical degree preferred
- Experience working in analytics-based sales organizations
WORKING CONDITIONS - Overnight travel 70-80% of the time
- Work entirely on the road or from office
- Regularly visit training site including customer facility and/or on-site job sites
- Occasional Lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Heavy hands-on activities with products
- Heavy PC use
- Daily, weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines
