Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility, both indoors and outdoors, to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms and incidents, managing situations with calm and authority.
- Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
- Communicate effectively using a radio with other officers and confidently handle phone calls with management, contractors, clients, and the public.
- Maintain detailed logs of activities, incidents, and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid CCTV license.
- Must be local to Camberley or within a commutable distance.
- Strong communication skills, with confidence in using radios and handling phone communications.
- Willingness to work a rotating shift pattern, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Available for 12-hour shifts: 7 am-7 pm and 7 pm-7 am.
- Ability to complete a 5-day training course successfully.
- Commitment to professionalism and maintaining a secure environment.
Shift Pattern:
- 5 Day shifts, 3 off, 4 Night shifts, 4 off.
