JOB PURPOSE:

The CCE Business Operations Assistant will support the Center for Community Engagement at the Graduate School of Education & Counseling with daily operational tasks relating to event registration, database maintenance & event support. The mission of the Center for Community Engagement is to enhance the effectiveness of education and mental health professionals as agents of change by providing equity driven professional development.

Our year-round offerings prepare practitioners to meet the educational and mental health needs of all communities, and to advocate for equity and social justice within their field of practice. Many offerings are open to community members and professionals from other fields and disciplines.

PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY:
  • Must be a current GSEC or CAS student at Lewis & Clark College
  • Resume, uploaded
  • Cover letter, uploaded
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Update Budget Sheets & audit system data
  • Assist with event preparation
  • Assist with post-event tasks in Salesforce (marking attendance, issuing certificates, exporting evaluation surveys)
  • Assist CCE students & community members with event registration
  • Troubleshoot/resolve registration issues
  • Update data & constituent records in Salesforce as needed
  • Various office tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with database maintenance
  • Basic spreadsheet & data entry experience
  • Completion of FERPA training will be required upon start of position
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Computer skills, especially MS Word, Excel, and web-based applications (e.g. Google Suite Tools).
  • Ability to follow directions and to work independently.
  • Ability to interact with faculty, staff, and community members in a professional and helpful manner.
  • Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals.
  • Previous office experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with Salesforce (preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with Asana project management software (preferred, not required)
  • Student Affairs Administration experience (preferred, not required)
SCHEDULE:
  • 3-5 hours per week (varies as needed) through Summer 2025. With a possible continuation into the '25-26 academic year depending on need
  • Business hours - 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (work to be completed on Graduate campus during business office hours)
RATE OF PAY:
  • $17 per hour
WORK STUDY REQUIREMENT:
  • Not required.
