We are looking for a talented Cath Lab IR Tech IIIto join our team here at the University of Maryland Medical Center.
Job Summary:
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES FOR THIS LEVEL:
- Performs in unit charge role; coaches new charge members.
- Coacher Cath Lab team member on technical aspects of the department to include competencies, percepts and presentations to various audiences.
- Leads in the development of Performance Improvement, or Evidence Based Practice, or research at the unit level.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- BLS and ACLS certification are required.
- Certification from the ARRT as an RT(R)(CV), RT(R)(CI) or RT(R)(VI) and licensure by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist
OR
Certification from the CIC for RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR THIS LEVEL:
- Recent applicable clinical experience in a comparable setting.
- Maintenance of 20 contact hours of education every year.
- Member of a professional organization.

- Pay Range:$53.12-$66.39
