Essential Functions
- Create Stellar Proposals: By pinpointing clients' needs and addressing their key concerns, develop proposals that not only meet but exceed their expectations.
- Cultivate Client Loyalty: Build and nurture lasting relationships with our valued returning clients.
- Efficient Communication: Ensure timely responses to all client correspondence to keep the dialogue flowing.
- Partnership Excellence: Manage existing location partnerships and strategically pursue new opportunities for collaboration.
- Pipeline Management: Keep a robust and active pipeline to consistently meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Precision in Planning: Utilize event software, CRM tools, and office calendars to ensure meticulous event planning and coordination.
- Client Engagement: Participate in site visits, pre-planning meetings, and tastings to enhance client interactions and experiences.
- Profit-Driven Proposals: Understand and incorporate event cost structures into proposals to ensure they are profitable.
- Client Confidence: Build client trust through a positive and clear speaking voice, attentive listening, appropriate responses, and prompt, accurate information.
- Industry Insight: Stay informed about the latest catering, hospitality, and event industry trends to keep our offerings current and competitive.
- Off-Premise Catering Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of off-premise catering to deliver seamless and memorable experiences for our clients.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and printers.

This position requires the ability to lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Mon-Fri, 45-hour week schedule but please have some flexible weekend availability as some clients or events may need your attention.
Travel
Local travel to meet clients, site visits or events as needed. Must have transportation and a valid drivers license.
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of 2+ years' experience in catering sales in Los Angeles, CA, with existing contacts/clients.
Honest passion for food, knowledge of wine and beverage trends, and mad respect for amazing service
Meeting deadlines, prioritize and perform a wide variety of tasks throughout the workday
Proficient computer and software skills using MS Office Suite and other company software
Highly organized and detailed
Self-starting, highly motivated, and able to work with minimum supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
