Catering Coordinator We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with catering marketing experience to grow, manage, and operate our catering system at our Woodbridge IHOP location.
As our catering coordinator, you will:
- Cultivate relationships in the community to create consistent catering guests and sales.
- Adhere strictly to WRG IHOP and health department food safety procedures to maintain a strong food safety system.
- Ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction possible in service and food quality at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Develop IHOP catering sales growth through community business engagement relationships.
- Develop and foster catering relationships with local businesses, schools, churches, and organizations.
- Strategize and create strategic ways to attract new catering guests.
- Plan, organize, and finalize order delivery and pick-up to ensure a seamless catering experience for all catering guests.
- Manage day-to-day catering activities, take leadership in handling guest relations and account management.
- Work shifts necessary to ensure all catering orders are executed without flaw.
- Conduct confirmation calls for each order, call-backs to previous catering guests to encourage repeat orders, reminders ahead of time for annual ordering guests, to engage with targeted catering guests.
- Conduct guest evaluations to ensure continuing catering guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Work hours must be flexible as needed including weekends and holidays.
- Previous catering experience is a must.
- Management or leadership experience is a plus.
- Self-starter with the ability to cold-call or visit local businesses.
Pay:
Base pay starting at $18 /hour
