Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Answers questions and has ability to make recommendations about our food, beverages, features, and catering services;
- Clearly understands correct procedures in serving Guests with allergens;
- Ability to take catering food and beverage orders from Guests, repeating order for Guest confirmation, and correctly entering orders in our point-of-sale system following established ringing guidelines;
- Understands online ordering procedures, and checks all tickets to ensure the guest receives the correct food;
- Performs a confirmation call for all orders/deliveries, and verifies the accuracy of the guest check;
- Follows all guidelines and procedures to confirm accurate catering execution;
- Adheres to all tendering guidelines: writing included gratuity on credit card slip, receipt on site procedures, closing the check and following established cash handling procedures;
- Completes Mileage logs as necessary, and turns into the Manager weekly
- Assists other Team members in meeting Guest needs, providing cooperative service and following safety standards;
- Attends and works onsite and offsite events as needed;
- Performs all duties and responsibilities according to the Company's written Employment Guidelines, including Performance Expectations and Dress/Style/Grooming Guidelines;
- Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all Guest service issues. Takes prompt corrective action as appropriate;
- Treats all Guests, Team Members, and Managers with the greatest degree of respect and courtesy. Maintains a friendly and cooperative attitude while at work. Portrays a favorable image of Dinosaur Bar-B-Que at all times; and
- Performs related tasks as assigned by Restaurant Management.
Requirements: - 6 mos. to 2 years related experience required.
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Must be able to speak and follow written and verbal communications, along with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Preferred: Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with Team Members and Managers and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests;
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system;
- Must have a working knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions; and
- Ability to manage his or her own work flow and resolve questions and problems with supervisor.
