This role focuses on supplier management, cost optimization, risk reduction, and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Category & Supplier Management Oversee MRO & Packaging categories, including integrated supply, industrial mill supplies, and EHS supplies. Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier relationships, handling service, contract, and commercial negotiations. Drive supplier standardization and risk mitigation to prevent single-source dependencies. Develop and implement best-in-class procurement processes using advanced procurement IT tools. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization Collaborate with design engineers, procurement teams, and manufacturing to optimize sourcing strategies. Create sourcing plans for all project phases, from concept development to manufacturing. Conduct cost estimation for Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers and support pricing negotiations. Participate in design reviews, providing input on cost, manufacturing, and assembly. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to travel up to 25% as needed. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (Visa sponsorship not available). Ability to handle export-controlled materials in compliance with regulations. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: Master's Degree preferred. Experience with dies, fabricated metals, blueprints, and materials management. Strong project management and procurement strategy skills.
