Performs computerized axial tomography procedures with minimum supervision and maintains equipment & supplies.
Responsibilities- Administers all steps of the CAT scan with the patient: Pre-exam processing, performing the exam, post-exam documentation.
- Maintains cleanliness of all rooms and machines in the department.
- Monitors all supplies and informs designated person prior to depletion.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited radiological technology program.
- Prior experience preferred; extensive on-the-job training.
Required Licensure/Certifications
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. - Licensed by the Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy in the state of New Hampshire - BLS within 30 days of hire date.
