Case Manager / Housing Navigator

Location: West Berkeley, CA 94710

Position Type: Full-Time, M-F 8am-4:30pm

Compensation: $26 - $29 per hour (dependent on incoming experience)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized service plans.
  • Assist clients in identifying and securing safe, stable housing.
  • Coordinate with landlords, housing authorities, and other community partners.
  • Advocate for clients in housing-related matters, including applications and appeals.
  • Provide ongoing case management, including referrals for mental health, substance use, and employment services.
  • Maintain detailed, up-to-date documentation and case notes.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and trainings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in case management, housing navigation, or working with vulnerable populations.
  • Knowledge of housing systems, local resources, and social service programs.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if field work is required).
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $29.00 per hour
